COURSE DESCRIPTION
Though the process of engaging in your own Yoga practice can seem daunting, it helps to think of it as growing your garden. When we plant seeds, we need to care for them by making sure they get enough water and sunlight. In our practice, that would be our passion and discipline. And supposing it’s an herb garden that you want to grow, the actual designing of the practice is like learning to make your own herbal tea blends. (If you don’t like herb tea, thinking of it as food recipes also works ;) Here's what you can expect in the three day workshop:
(Will be posting more details in the next few days so please check back soon.)

THE LAY OF THE LAND. A free Yoga workshop.
Some of us find ourselves in the middle of Yoga practice (or other things) only to realize we’ve not really bothered to find out what we got ourselves into. We hear it’s a Path. Is it? If it is, does it lead somewhere? Have we actually surveyed the landscape? Is there a map/s? Where do we locate ourselves on this path? And, do we even want to be on it??
As an introduction to a 3-day workshop I’m giving called HOW TO GROW A YOGA PRACTICE, join me in taking that pause to examine, assess, and gather information about this so-called path. This way, if we decide to enter into a practice, we could be more deliberate and purposeful about it. We will be working with one particular navigating system called the 5 KOSHAS. KOSHA is a Sanskrit word which means sheath. And these refer to layers of the body. Yes, our body as a map!
Setting the tone of this workshop is a personal interest in the often-missed dynamics that inform map reading and use. We'll take a quick look at the reader, the reading, and what is being read. While it’s fairly easy to get hold of a map, making it useful is a whole other story.
Come join me this Sunday, 29th August, 9-11am. Pls bring your own mats if you can. Looking forward to seeing you there!
